VEF Marine Survey & Consultancy is specialized in cargo damage surveys and claims handling of such matters. In cargo claims, ascertaining the causation of the damage along with extent of the damage and possible loss is quite critical. Our highly experienced surveyors conduct cargo damage surveys with utmost care for any type of cargo in dry or liquid form by obtaining detailed information regards to background of the incident, making proper investigation, collecting evidence and evaluating findings where protect our clients’ interests.
Upon completion of initial investigation of the matter, preliminary findings are reported to our clients along with supporting photographs and documents. Furthermore, depending on the extent of the matter, additional attendance might be required on board the vessel or storage areas, where further findings would be reported on daily basis without any delay. In case of joint inspections, we participate in such surveys and act on behalf of our clients on WP basis. A Final Survey Report covering all findings and facts is submitted to our clients.
