Condition surveys generally focus on hull and structural elements of the vessel, machinery and its equipment, cargo compartments, hatch covers (if available), maintenance aspects, certification and documentation, safety and fire-fighting equipment, navigational equipment, compliance with international regulations and Codes, any special specifications of the vessel as per her type, etc.

We follow the P&I Clubs or H&M Insurers’ instructions and assess the condition of the vessel taking into account the framework specifying the areas to be assessed.    

Our highly experienced surveyors have conducted numerous condition surveys, where actual conditions of the vessels were reflected in our survey reports assisting the insurers to determine potential risk factors.

Furthermore, we also conduct follow-up condition surveys as per the requirements of the insurers upon rectification of the ascertained defects on board informing the insurers on the latest status of the defective items, if any.
