VEF Marine Survey & Consultancy is quite experienced in hull and machinery damage surveys and claims handling of such matters. Collision incidents and/or machinery failure might result in considerable claims both P&I Clubs and H&M insurers as well as insureds. In hull and machinery damage surveys, our professional surveyors investigate the cause and extent of the damage, evaluating each matter with utmost care. Upon completion of initial investigation of the matter, preliminary findings are reported to our clients along with supporting photographs and documents. Furthermore, depending on the extent of the matter, additional attendance might be required on board the vessel and/or shipyards for monitoring of the repair works, where further findings would be reported without any delay. A Final Survey Report covering all findings and facts is submitted to our clients.
